As you can see… I’m completely freaking out over preppy, collegiate fashion! I love that everything here is simple, sweet, crispy, classic and lots of layers that work really well together. I decided to make a lil’ collegiate shop for all you peeps that are equally obsessed with this style. It’s everywhere right now and I seriously LOVE how it looks. I’ve only owned this outfit for a week but I’ve worn it to work already AND out twice! YIKES. I hope you enjoy it and let me know if there are any styles on your radar.

Please tell me you guys caught the Season Premiere of Celebrity Fit Club on VH1. It was so good! Obviously, the most drama is coming from Shar Jackson and Kevin Federline. She’s definitely been hurt by him and he’s kinda just ignoring it all. Strange! The real hero of the show is our bestie, Jay McCarroll! He KILLED it in the very first ep and to be honest, he already looks pretty amazing! Member when we did our podcast with him at Coney Island? Well, he’s slimmed down since then and now his goal is to lose 30lbs more! WOWZA! I’ll be rooting for him every step of the way, and his hilariousness won’t hurt him in this situation… I mean, hullo, he’s already team captain! GO JAY! Bobby Brown on the other hand, has already downed two beers and a plate full of fried chicken… DAY ONE! The rest of the members of the cast look pretty dedicated… Check them out in all their glory, after the jump, along with their current weights and their goal weights. I’ve been hearing a ton of peeps complaining about the Super Bowl commercials, but come on… These commercials have 30 seconds to blow your mind! Let’s give props to all the companies that shelled out millions to get the chance to say “Holla” during the biggest game of the year. Here’s a few of my fave, but I liked a lot of other…
I love the Simpsons, so GOOD JOB Coca-Cola. I was chugging a glass bottle of Coke while I was watching this and I total loved it! I also loved seeing the Griswolds on vacay… Pretty sure Chevy Chase is making a true comeback.
I also actually laughed out loud at this ridiculous Doritos commercial… But, My FAVE of the entire night was the google love commercial. I kinda got teary eyed! I sat in bed last night and watched it over and over!
So, I know it was hard to pull yourself away from the Puppy Bowl (espesh during the Kitty half time show) but what was your fave commercial of the night? And that celebrity hoarder is… Lindsay Lohan? Wha? Okay, so La Lohan is going to be on the Insider tonight, talking to Niecy Nash about her family situation and her bedroom that turned into a shoe closet. I watched the commercial for it and I CANNOT wait to watch the show… I always feel so sorry for Lindsay, she’s kinda had a bad time with her family and growing up in the spotlight. I mean, watch her music video above and tell me that’s not a cry for help. I hope she’s ok… And if she’s getting rid of stuff, I hope she’s sending it to people in need!

So, I have an amazing restaurant suggestion for Valentine’s Day. Ever watch Iron Chef? Well, Iron Chef Morimoto has an amazing restaurant in NYC (and Philly) and last night was my first time there… It was life changing. Tuesday nights are “date night” for me and Pete (cheesy, I know) and last night was the first time we hit up the Morimoto spot. We decided to go all out and try something new, so we did the “Chef’s Menu”. It was such a beautiful experience that even if the food was bunk, I would have still loved it, but the food blew my mind. I kinda felt like a judge on Iron Chef, and I loved it. Every course was new and interesting and kinda scary… I have a hard time with eyeballs on my plate and strange textures, but the meal was anything BUT scary. Super fresh, nothing was fishy, even the sea urchin was tasty (and that’s the scariest thing ever)! I HIGHLY suggest checking this place out. The staff was so genuinely great and the manager hung out at our table for a bit, it was so cool. LOVED IT! Now, make a reservation!

Sorry about the poor quality of these pics… I just couldn’t wait to get a photographer! I had to take these pics. Danit and I showed up to our weekly meeting with the exact same get-up! We both went crazy for the Sirena con Jersey mountains sweater the second it came in… We were a little skeptical when we saw the bright green mountains and blue skyline on a classic sweater, but I AM TELLING YOU… IT IS AMAZING! I’m totally not typically a sweater gal, but I love it. The skyline crewneck makes it seem like you’re wearing a necklace and help give a new texture and the cut is so super flattering on EVERYONE. (And it reminds me of old school Nintendo.)
Danit and I were meeting in the conference room, which is why you see the inspirational chalkboard! We were both gushing about how cute we felt in our sweater and we decided to take photo booth pics. I hope you love them, and I sincerely suggest getting this sweater. We only have a few left. I’m wearing the SM/MD and Danit is rockin’ the MD/LG, just to give you an idea of fit. So, member when Joaquin Phoenix lost his damn mind? He retired from acting in 2008, which is totally fine… He wanted to concentrate on music. BUT, he also started acting effing NUTS. (And letting Casey Affleck film it) Since all of Hollywood loves him and he is such a spectacular actor, it was hard for all of us to watch, right? Hopefully, this clean cut, handsome looking man, resembling what we used to know, is back to the good ol’ Phoenix we know and love. I see he’s still a smoker, but the beard and a bath is a good place to start I guess… He’s also rumored to be finishing up his album! YAY! I really want to hear it. The reviews on the 8 songs so far are really positive. Like, Bowie/Beatles/Oasis type music and not the Rap he was claiming to be working on. WHEW.

To me, the 1992 Kate Moss cover of Harper’s Bazaar, has always been the epitome of magazine-cover-beauty. She’s done it again, but only better! Can you believe it’s been 18 years since that first cover!? 1992 was seriously that long ago! People born in 1992 can VOTE! ARE YOU KIDDING ME? How is Kate Moss still this sexy? Better with age for sure! She was THE 90’s model and now… almost 20 years later, she’s still killing it! I love everything about her and this is such a striking shoot. LOVE LOVE LOVE!
