I was checking out our vault of eCards and this one from 2008 really caught my eye! I don’t remember this show but oversized bling and R&B style are coming back in a big way! I hope we get some bold doorknocker earrings and studded snapback caps soon, but for now my fave YRU Clutch Animal Print Hidden Wedge Sneakers are doing the trick!

How adorable are these stickers on the door of my dentist’s office? They made my not-so-fun visit to the dentist a little bit cuter. Apparently I need to work on my flossing, and the Cupcake Floss will certainly make that job a little sweeter! I’ll kill off those Cavity Creeps yet!

Billy & Geoffrey sporting shades together reminded us of that My Buddy doll from the ’80s. Dinos are so much cooler than dolls, right? Check it out!

Billy & Diane are getting our trees ready for spring with some extra flower power! Diane’s especially in the spring spirit with Tulle’s Floral Denim Jacket – perfect to wear while planting flowers! Even if you don’t have a little garden plot, you can grow your own windowsill garden with our Flowers In A Can.

My UnicornOs made a not-so-big move the other day. Now they’re in my line of sight all day long! All you need to create your own bulletin board pegestal is an old paper clip or cassette tape box, a bit on construction paper, two rubber bands, and some thumbtacks! Then you’ll have a super cute place for a couple your magical friends to hang out all day long.

We’ll never know why good socks go missing and abandon their solemates. Ease the pain by giving your sock drawer some new friends to hang with like these cool watermelon socks or ferociously cute dinosaur ones!

I’m so excited for the Met Costume Institute’s exhibit this year, Punk: Chaos and Couture. Exploring the influence of punk of fashion, it explores the earlier roots from the ’70s and covers a full range of the progenitors of the punk movements in New York and London. Blondie and Sid Vicious were expected inclusions, but I was especially pumped to see one of my favorite icons, Jordan, mentioned in the overview as the embodiment of the visual language and artistic expression of punk pioneered by Malcom McLaren and Vivienne Westwood.

We took a little ping pong break on Friday! Billy beat everyone in the first three rounds but Tim was the ultimate champion of the day. Get your own table tennis team going at work with our Desktop Table Tennis Kit!

Billy & I took a walk around Greenpoint the other afternoon and after stopping by Cafe Grumpy (of Girls fame), I was SUPER EXCITED to stumble upon Cookie Road’s smaller outpost! It beckoned me in with its super bright sign, and the crazy colorful cookies didn’t disappoint! I wasn’t able to get a goof picture with my phone, but these adorable heart cookies show the full color spectrum of cookies available!
I definitely got some new frosting inspiration from these cute sugar cookies. I especially love these Day of the Dead ones from the fall…gotta have those sugary skulls!

I was reading this article about engagement with public art and came across this striking set of photographs by Raphaël Zarka entitled “Riding Modern Art”, capturing skateboarders riding public works of modernist art.
