Oh Mila, you’re always so well put together! Here’s Mila Kunis at the opening night for the New York City Ballet at Lincoln Center on 11/24. I LOVE that she topped her strapless cocktail dress with a sweet tuxedo blazer and a totally casual bun! She looks amaze! I’m inspired to wear my sweetheart bustier with the black cat tuxedo blazer! FOR SURE! It’s so laid back n’ classy.

Well howdy folks! Another fantabulous day in Greenpoint, BK! The weather was gorgeous and lots of folks moseyed over to STORE CUTE! Got us here thinking, “Hey we’ve got holiday shopping to do, too!”
Stacey checked her dual time owl watch necklace and said, “It’s time to purch the merch!”
Stacey picked up a box of the Pick Your Nose party cups, because she noes 
that they’re the key to successful (& fun!) holiday parties.
Bee looks sweet with her sprinkle donut plush pillow companion, but her mug of hot cocoa packs a punch – the fisticup comes equipped with a set of brass knuckles. Perfect for an alpine vacation…you never know when you might have to fight the Abominable Snowman!
It doesn’t have to be pouring outside to re-enact your favorite part of Singin’ in the Rain. Bilgin takes singing in the shower to a whole new level with the rain parade umbrella. Move over, Gene Kelly, Jean Dubry (Bilgin’s stage name) is taking over!

When my roommate and I started planning our trip to South America last year, we knew it would be the trip of a lifetime. We wanted to do it all! Party in Brazil, surf in Chile, and tango in Argentina. Backpack our way through South America!! Easy, right? We knew we were going to start off in Peru, so we ordered travel books and started planning. Note: we are used to travel in the DR, where we get from one side to the other in about 8 hours. When we started realizing that travel by bus through South America would take years, we decided to modify our backpacking adventures to Peru solo. We were anything but disappointed.
Peru has so much variety; anything in the world can grow there. There’s every kind of climate and terrain, from the Andes to the Amazon. Most Peruvians prefer to travel within their own nation, because even just a place a few hours away can feel like a totally different country.
Lima is the largest city in Peru, with a population of about 8,000,000. (This is about the population of the entire island of DR! Yeah.) It is also the capital city, and its name comes from the indigenous language of Quechua. Limaq in Quechua means “talker”. Even though the Spaniards tried to rename the city, the name stuck. This is where our adventure begins.
After a long travel day and functioning on an hour of sleep, we were up and ready for our tour of Lima! Lima is a cool city, with a hint of European flavor, but still totally its own. We had a bit of free time to explore la plaza de armas (the main square of the city), so we did just that.
As we turned the corner onto one of the streets, we saw a line of police men, a bit intimidating with their uniforms and shields. Almost immediately they started waving at us. Not quite sure what to expect, being in a totally different country and all, and not knowing the overall feeling towards foreigners, we hesitated. They continued to wave, and finally one of them shouted to us “foto!” They were waving us over for a picture!! I looked at my roommate, said “I think we’re going to be just fine in this country” and crossed the street.
Our travels next took us to Lake Titicaca, but that’s a totally different story.

OMG! What a fabulous day at STORE CUTE! It’s totally rockin’ here and we just can’t contain ourselves. It’s me, Bee and Chris jamming to Keri (the store’s iPod). We started the morning with Nirvana and then went right into Beyonce and Lady Gaga’s Videophone, just to give you an idea. So many things happened today!
Number one, the store was super packed with people getting a jump start on gift shopping.
Number two, we got another sweet piece of Flare Mail, this time from Sami!

Number three, the designers of the plush evil ice cream clown came in. Thanks for visiting, Kerry & Darth!
Number four, we had the cutest customers visiting. Josephine actually had a clipboard that she was using to make her Christmas list.
Then there was a cute family from Canada who came by too. It was tough for Michaela to narrow down what she wanted. We know it’s hard – we work here and want to buy everything too!
Hunger was the last thing on our minds- not! Thank goodness Chris bought a pizza pie from our local joint Carmine’s. Deee-lish!

It’s that time of year again… The holidays are here, which means, the holiday parties are popping up like crazy! Tons of lovely little parties that require cute dresses, fancy earrings and gifties galore! But seriously, who has time to pick out all the things necessary for all those parties!? So, I’m prepared to help ya’ll out. I’m gonna give you some tips and tricks on how to be ready in no time and survive the shin-digs.

But seriously, don’t forget to take a camera to catch all the fun and all sweet shots!
