I’ve come across this before while doing some research and it always catches my eye. This is The Clock Tower in Brooklyn, New York. A little background on this place. She was originally built back in 1915 and dubbed one of the largest poured concrete buildings in NY. A former machine room for the clock is now a 6500 square foot apartment with some badass views and a killer contemporary kitchen.
A refined, elegant, straightforward style. The original design and character of the building speak for themselves. No need to mess with the history. The kitchen is a nice soft compliment. photos via Contemporist, Tim Capaldi

**PIP PIP HOORAY! ALERTZ** New Direx is in NYC for Nationals, with two new original songs to write and a coach to possibly lose. So is Will staying or going? Will Rachel pick Finn or Jesse? And will they actually win Nationals? All these questions and more are answered in the second season finale of GLEE…
The team is over the moon, all Big-Apple-eyed about being in NYC. Cue mash-up of “I Love New York/New York, New York” through Central Park. Finn tries to win Rachel back with a romantic comedy-perfect date, complete with a street choir serenade of “Bella Notte” from the boys of New Direx. My 2 fave icons of epic inspirado… Reunited! Checkout a beauticious Madonna surprising Oprah for her final episode of the Oprah Winfrey show today (hey Beyonce). Wow, 25 years… Oprah is amazing and will continue to inspire me to be the best person I can be. Madge was right, Oprah does kick azz! Final ep airs tomorrow.

Hey peeps, just a quick follow up…. I first have to thank everyone, sooo much, for all the amazing comments, phone messages and texts that I’ve received since posting last week. I feel so blessed to have such great support from so many incredible people. It’s good to know that when you’re down, your friends are there for you. It means the world to me. Thank you so much!
So, it’s been a week since that drama-lama-blog post and I’ll be honest, it’s been a challenging week. I did get back to the gym, training with Ed and “carefully” doing Intensati with my fugly kneepads, but I still feel a tingle-o-funk. I think it was the Stationery Show. I walked it all by myself on Tuesday and it was kinda sad and lonely. I did see some great things and enjoyed chatting with some of my fave vendors, but I mostly was under the radar stealth. I’ve never done that without Keith and it felt like lots of ghosts… I remembered 10 years ago at the Stationery Show, when we still exhibited, I got that call that I was chosen as one of the final contenders for Survivor Africa. It was an exciting, hopeful time… But now I felt kinda lost! I guess mourning the loss of the store was bigger than I had anticipated.
