I baked a pretty delicious loaf of bread last night, and though I’d like to chalk the success up to my mad baking skills, I think I owe a shout out to the super-amaze Swiss Measuring Spoons. As a kid I really wanted a cool Swiss Army knife, but that’s only because I didn’t know about these.
1/4 tsp – 1 Tbsp, this has me covered. Plus, it’s super bright and looks awesome in my kitchen!
The only awkward thing is now I have all this leftover buttermilk from the recipe. Does anyone have any good uses for it?? Leave me a comment and help me out!

I just love this BB Dakota dress! I bought it as soon as it came in and have been wearing every chance I get. I love that it has removable straps and can be worn at a casual picnic or to a summer wedding. It’s my new all-purpose warm weather dress! And hey, that bag is pretty darn cute too

As I walked to work yesterday, I saw a sign up for a kitten adoption fair in McCarren Park. And I haven’t been able to stop thinking about kittens ever since! My cat’s name is Sweetie, and though she’s moved further and further away from embodying her namesake as she’s aged, she still holds a huge place in my heart. She’s also the reason why I can’t imagine ever not having a cat as a pet. Of course, all this thinking about cats led me to seek out one of my favorite YouTube videos of all time. Whether you’ve seen it a million times before or have never seen it at all, Surprised Kitty is always worth a watch. Here’s hoping this will put a smile on your face and help make your weekend come that much faster!
