I can’t believe the CARNIVAL OF CUTE is finally happening!! Am so excited. There’s still lots of last-minute stuff to take care of for the big day but it’s really coming together great. Chris Uphues is here today painting some hearts on our building and looks AMAZING!!!! Will post some pics later.

I’ve also gotten more details from some of our featured guests about their merch selection so here’s a quick run-down fer ya…

AMY SEDARIS will have a TON of stuff in her super cute boutique: projects from her awesome book, fake cakes, jars of jimmies, hand lotion, coin banks, lighters, all sorts of clever crafts plus she said she’s gonna try and bake some cupcakes. Yum!

GINA GARAN’s gonna have Blythe dolls big and small as well as some clothes, wigs, books, postcards, you name it. Can’t wait! Blythe RULES.

Am also very excited to see what Don and John of PATCH NYC bring. As I mentioned before, they haven’t had a sample sale in two years so there are some serious scores to be had: jewelry priced $5-$65 as well as cosmetic bags and handbags ranging from $10-$85. I love their scarves also and they’re bringing a bunch for only $20-$35. A few boxes of stuff came today and I peeked and FREAKED.

The lil’ KLEIN REID boutique is gonna have some amazing things also! Look for handmade porcelain vases, crewelled pillows, fine art prints and crystal, starting at only $40.

Lastly, I am totes PSYCHED to purchase some heartfelt awesomeness from CHRIS UPHUES!!!! Happily this Friday is pay day for us:) See you there!
