That was one helluva night in Grammy land last night, wouldn’tcha say? It was like welcome to the Whitney & Adele show… It was amazing! First of all let me just say, it was really moving to see what everyone had to say about the late-great Whitney Houston, she is obviously respected and going to be missed in the industry.

Now to the F-RED CARPET… I loooooved Katy Perry, Rihanna and Kelly Osbourne! They might be my favorite people right now.I’m also really into Katy’s hardcore change into crimped hair and glitzy gold dress and Rihanna’s deep dark lips. Besties with major style appeal! And um, quick question: Nicki? Say what? The “Pope”? Okay, go with it gurl.

The awards and performances were out of this world this year. Obviously, Adele was the golden child, racking up SIX awards! (Watch out Beyoncé!) The tributes and performances were definitely the high point especially because I don’t think there were too many surprises when dishing out the awards. I was most… Intrigued? Is that the right word? Watching Nicki Minaj, it was a little exorcism heavy, but to each his own. Adele’s Rolling in the Deep was incredz and I’m pretty sure Rhinestone Cowboy was my personal highlight of the evening. I was also super into Paul McCartney and Springsteen closing out the night with an all out standing ovation!! HOLLER!
