Be still my heart… I cannot handle this much beauty in a single runway! Let me start off by saying I am a HUGE Christian Siriano fan. Always have been. Always will be. I met him on the eve of my 21st birthday and practically freaked (see picture below). He was super sweet, wished me a happy birthday and listened to me rant about how talented I think he is. So amazing. I will call him when the time comes to make my wedding gown. You think I’m kidding? It will happen. Anyhow…on to the fashion!
This collection blew me away! I absolutely loved the dark lips with the otherwise natural makeup… it really allows us to focus on the important part of the runway: the clothing! Everything in his collection is wearable! I mean seriously. Every girlfriend of mine could wear something in this show. And obviously I could see myself in every single outfit above… and I would even have places to wear them to! Who’s with me? I also loved the color theme and use of furs, leather and metallics. Greys, blacks and reds… my kinda colors. Overall, this show was absolutely perfection! What you you guys think of the collection? COMMENT TO WIN!

comment by Tim C. — February 16, 2012The best part of this collection = high fashion practicality. Which at times, can be pretty difficult to find. I know quite a few women that would happily wear these to work (me included). He did such a phenomenal job at leaving it to the clothing to sell, well… the clothing. The hair is simply, the eyes are light, and then there’s the lips, even though they’re black as can be, it leaves a little “pop,” if you will, that compliments each outfit perfectly. My two favorite’s would have to be the pantsuit or the pencil skirt with the extremely feminine top; the way each outfit works in any setting is what makes them so amazing.
