When summer hits my thoughts turn to ice cream. My favorite ice cream is made by Jeni's Splendid Ice Cream, based in Columbus, Ohio. The flavors are creative and sometimes outrageous (in a good way) and the ingredients are organic and locally sourced. I can thankfully score some pints of Jeni's Ice Cream here in NYC but whenever I go back for a visit I always have to stop by Jeni's for a scoop.

Tavi is on an epic cross country road trip this summer and made a stop in my old stomping grounds, Columbus, Ohio. One of the places she made sure to visit was my beloved Jeni's Ice Cream. Girl after my own heart I tell ya.
