I know it seems like ages and ages ago by now, but I had such a fun fourth of July that I couldn’t help but share some of my pictures with you guys!

In the morning, I went to Roosevelt Island to cheer on a friend who was running a 10K. It was cloudy when I got there, but by the time the race ended (besides being boiling hot) it was absolutely stunning out! I mean, just check out that Queensboro bridge. USA!

I then trekked out to my Westchester to go swimming and have a cookout with family, but more importantly, to fondle these adorable month old kittens. If that’s not patriotic, I don’t know what is.

Lastly, though perhaps most patriotically, I ended the night by setting off fireworks with some friends. I think this one was called the red lotus. Amateurs handling pyrotechnics very close to flammable materials? God bless America!
