Well, I didn’t get to see Madonna in concert this week, but I did get to see the next best thing… Dolly Parton! That’s right, Keith and I saw Dolly in concert last night at NYC’s Radio City Music Hall! We know how much y’all love Dolly’s hits and she performed pretty much every single one, but I was really taken how totally ahmahazing and hilarious she was. She chatted us up non-stop, thanked everyone profusely and cracked like a million jokes. I loved the one about her hubby falling into the hole in their mattress that her boobs made. And when she explained what a “Backwoods Barbie” is, she said it’s like when your pink Corvette is on blocks and your dream house come with wheels! She was just a doll(y) and played like a million instruments too: the harmonica, banjo, auto harp, piano, dulcimer and the guitar. Dolly’s truly a super talent and I’ll always love her! Yee Haw!
