A couple of weeks ago we gave you some sneak peeks of a secret BFF visit to the Fred Flare offices. Well the secret’s finally out! We are THRILLED to introduce Natalie Holbrook, creator of Nat the Fat Rat as our very first Blogger BFF!

Natalie is a Manhattan based mom, wife and blogger who keeps herself very busy. She describes herself as “a hopeless optimist and prodigious over-exaggerator.” We describe her as our new fave at Fred Flare!

When she’s not totally killing it modeling for Fred Flare she posts regularly on her blog, Nat the Fat Rat. She also writes for Babble and Disney Baby.

We were lucky enough to have Natalie spend an afternoon with us. We shared some donuts, Diet Cokes and some entertaining stories. We also got to ask Natalie a few questions…

What does cute mean to you? Not sexy or gorgeous… it’s taking the best of what every girl can be. It’s taking the best of what God gave you and playing it up and being really confident with it!

What is your most fun fashion moment? Fashion Week last summer: I was walking toward Lincoln Center, pushing my baby in the stroller, and Tim Gunn walks towards me. We passed in the intersection and I was wearing my overalls. I don’t think he approved. He gave me a look, and I was like “aaaah!” It was so amazing… but also really embarrassing.

How would you describe your style? I am a total t-shirt and jeans kind of girl. I like to play around with things, and experiment with looks, but when it really comes down to it I’m t-shirt & jeans. And tall shoes, ’cause I’m really short.

Who is your fashion icon? My fashion icon is Gwyneth Paltrow. I love her clean cut style!

What is your most guilty pleasure? Oh man, I’ve got a lot… I read a lot of blogs, I drink a lot of Diet Coke… my whole life is kind of one big guilty pleasure!
