So, I'm not sure if you noticed, but I've been on a concert kick this summer... and it's been AWESOME! Parachute, one of my absolute FAVORITE bands played Highline Ballroom in NYC two weeks ago--and the show was absolutely incredible. It was my first time seeing the band play such an intimate setting and it was better than I could have ever expected!!! And I see plenty of concerts...
Will, the band's front-man, seriously knows how to work a crowd... the man was jumping off his piano and screaming his lyrics with a passion that is very rare in a band. It was quite a show... AND they also covered an all-time favorite oldie of mine, "Gimme Some Lovin'" by the Spencer Davis Group. That was a highlight for me... I danced and sang my little butt off and had an absolute blast!
For all you music fans out there, definitely check out Parachute... their song "You and Me" is on my boombox. They're currently on tour and will be out again in the Fall! I promise you will enjoy the show AND the music :) would I steer you wrong?
