Pardon the super obvious title – I’m still pretty beat after spending an afternoon with so many adorable dogs! I volunteered at an adoption event for BARC, an animal shelter in Brooklyn that finds homes for dogs, cats, and even a hen! I walked Hayden or ‘Mama’, who came here all the way from Tennessee with her five puppies. But the real show stopper was Dolores, a boxer/pit bull puppy who caught the attention of every passerby. She loves chewing on sticks, but I think a zombie foot would be a much better upgrade!
