I was near tears trying to ONLY pick 6 looks to feature from J. Crew’s Spring 2013 line. Tears I say! Balance was definitely the key here and it was done perfectly. Conservative and casual tops were paired with more elaborate skirts redefining the term transitional.

Androgynous ensembles were given a dose of flower power and great eyewear adding a gorgeous amount of femininity. Not to mention that ‘darling’ sweater on the right. C’mon. Adorbs. Which look is your fave?

to be honest, the floral trend on pants has not rubbed off on me yet. something about florals on my crotch that just doesn’t feel quite right, you know? However, I love that with all the loud bottoms, the tops in the collection are very subtle and versatile!

comment by Cate — September 12, 2012I’m with Katrina — I’m not a fan of the floral prints… then again, I said that about skinny jeans and I wear them every day…
I do love the style in the 6th picture tho! The pants are a little loud for me, but besides jeans, I mostly only wear black, white, or grey, so my my opinion doesn’t really count all that much…haha!
comment by grace — September 12, 2012As always, J.Crew has made a great effort at luxe pieces.
comment by Phoebe — September 13, 2012I love the patterned pants! I don’t own any yet, but I really need a pair. They are a great statement piece!
comment by Rebecca — September 13, 2012those patterned pants in the bottom right are so lovely. I am a huge fan of the patterned pants trend, they’re such an easy way to change an outfit from regular to fashionable!
comment by Maggie — September 13, 2012I’m not a fan of this collection at all. There is just so much going on and I’m not a huge fan of prints on myself.
comment by Sand — September 13, 2012I love JCrew! The tops are usually what i expect from JCrew. I love the skirts, hope they make it a shorter for the mass market
comment by Lynn — September 13, 2012I LOVE the white skirt (the shimmery one)
comment by Kristin — September 13, 2012I need that white sequined skirt! So cute. But I think I’d like it even more if it was a bit shorter!
