Hi, where are you from?
I was born and raised in the suburbs of Long Island, NY, or as some call it "Strong Island" but saying that totally makes me cringe. I first moved to Brooklyn during my colleges years at F.I.T. when I was studying advertising and marketing communications. Once I graduated in the Spring of 2011 I up and moved all the way to San Francisco, California! I was there for about a year and then recently moved back to Brooklyn this past June. Woah, yeah it's been pretty hectic moving a lot but I'm totally glad to be back.
Why the move to San Francisco? Do you miss it?
I moved to SF because my current boyfriend was living there at the time, and WHY NOT move to California!? I grew up on the east coast and was ready to give the west coast a chance. I do miss SF, I miss the weather, the beautiful natural landscapes and architecture, and most importantly the population of interesting people. I think to live in SF, even for a short time, is to love SF. It's a very special city.
So now that you're back, what do you like to do in New York?
I love wandering aimlessly around Brooklyn. I love Williamsburg and Greenpoint because they still have a neighborhood feel even though they are so close to the hustle and bustle of NYC. I love riding my bike around and taking my two dogs Taco and Mama to the local dog park. I'm really into renting movies and eating ice cream in bed, I would say that's almost a nightly occurrence for me. Now that I'm back, I get to visit my family on Long Island pretty much whenever I want which is awesome, HI MOM!
So how did you find out about Fred Flare?
I was actually introduced to the magical world of FF when I bought the plush heart for an exboyfriend on Valentine's Day a few years ago. I'm not sure if he kept it, or if he's doing voodoo on it, either way I thought it was a really cute gift.

FAV MUSIC: I think my most played Pandora stations are the Yeah Yeah Yeah's, Neil Young, Morrissey, and Joy Division.
GUILTY PLEASURE: Vegan BBQ drumsticks from Foodswings in Brooklyn, it's the only food I ever crave. But I also have an epic sweet tooth, so I'm game for candy and cupcakes all day everyday.
FAV MOVIE: Can't pick just one, but pretty much everything directed by Sofia Coppola and Wes Anderson.
CATS OR DOGS: D.R.E.A.M. - Dogs Rule Everything Around Me! Seriously I'm obsessed with my dogs, I even have them tattooed on me. Yes, it's that serious.
