Maybe you didn’t realize it yet, but today is a very special day in history.. it’s Johnny Appleseed’s and Olivia Newton John’s Birthday! You’re probably thinking, wow those two people are entirely unrelated. It does seem that way at first, but I did some quick internet research and came to my own conclusion that Olivia Newton John likes apples, so really this is all connected in a meaningful way.

We have Johnny Appleseed to thank for introducing many glorious apple trees to our fine land. Without Mr. Appleseed we may have never been able to enjoy delicious apple pie, apple juice, apples and peanut butter, or pretty much any other meal that incorporates apples into it. The possibilities are endless!

We also have Olivia Newton John to thank for just being herself, she does a great job at that. Without her, the movie Grease could have been totally lame (really, who else could play Sandy like she did). And her classic 80′s hit “Let’s Get Physical” would never be stuck in my head on repeat while I’m trying to do work. So thank you Johnny Appleseed and Olivia Newton John for being born today, your contributions to society will be appreciated for generations to come!
