Geez, what the hull was going on this weekend. First I hear that Bernie Mac passed away and then I get to work this morning only to find out that Isaac Hayes passed away too. This is beyond crazy and soooo sad. Okay, Bernie passed away on Saturday at the age of 50 due to complications with pneumonia. Bernie, was famous for cracking us all up to no end with his Emmy award winning TV show and starring roles in Charlie’s Angels and the Oceans Trilogy. To quote “Dirrty” my fave Xtina song… “We blessed, and hung low, like Bernie Mac.” He’ll be greatly missed, that for sure.

Now, Isaac Hayes! This is just nuts. Isaac passed away yesterday at the age of 65… His wife found him lying on the floor next to the treadmill. OMG! Issac, the king of soul and funk is best known for his Oscar winning song “Shaft” from the 1971 blaxpolitation film of the same name. Isaac also provided the voice for “Chef” on South Park. These two talented men were so amazing. Our hearts go out to their families. RIP brothers!
