I’m going through this phase where I shoddily Photoshop our hilarious (and cozy!) Knit Turkey Hat onto my favorite celebrities. I would rather just take a photo, but no one is calling me back…

Today’s model is one of my fave NPR personalities and the staple of any Holiday season in my household: Susan Stamberg. I love pretty much everything she does, including the annual holiday special Hanukkah Lights. This post, however, is to commemorate the tradition that has been a valued part of any public radio listener’s Thanksgiving for over forty years: Mama Stamberg’s Cranberry Relish.

I don’t have a food processor so unfortunately I can’t make it this year, but I’m definitely going to be thinking of the pepto-pink relish as I relish (har har har) the other cranberry dishes on the table this Thanksgiving.

What recipes do you have year after year that really make Thankgiving for you? Let me know in the comments!
