"MENTAL ILLNESS HAIRCUT ALERTZ!" Last night marked the 25th annual VMA's and it was totally EPIC! First of all, can I just say that I love Russell Brand?! He was absolutely hysterical in Forgetting Sarah Marshall and I loved him as tonight's host! The only complaint I had about him was that he was a little bit too controversial for my taste. I mean, I did share most of his views on things ("Please vote Barack Obama on behalf of the world" was classic) but not everyone who watches MTV is as liberal. (Jordan Sparks!)

But back to the VMA's! How totes HAWT was Rihanna's opening number?! I love Disturbia. It's so catchy! And her dancers were WAY creepy looking. I wasn't a fan of her outfit, but it was totally made up for in her second performance with T-Pain. Now naturally I was HIGHLY anticipating the Jo Bro's performance, of "LoveBug" (which is my favorite off the new album!) And Pink's performance of "So What" was the performance of the night. She looked FIERCE, had a totally powerful voice and I loved the stunts! Of course I gotta give a shoutout to my girl Katy Perry: I loved her performance of "Like a Virgin", plus how cute did she look?! The rest of the performances didn't blow me away, I've seen Paramore live and Hayley can do better than that and while I LOVED the song Kayne sang, the actual performance was just alright. AND OMG! Was X-Tina LIP SYNCHING?!?!!??!

For the awards part of the ceremony, I pretty much agreed with everyone who won. But Chris Brown TOTALLY got robbed by PCD for Best Dancing In a Video. Biggest WTF moment of the night had to be Milez losing to Tokio Hotel. I was flipping out because me and my roommate voted like a million times for Team Milez, however when TK won, I was secretly really excited because I knew Bee was probably crying in her dorm room up at Emerson with happiness. I loved the bit with Miley and Tokio Hotel playing Rockband backstage! I thought it was a funny pairing of Milez and TH together.

Other random notes I took (yes I took notes for this!) were: LiLo was looking mighty fine. She's looking totally healthy and I loved that she was there with SamRo. I was THRILLED The Ting Tings performed "Shutup and Let Me Go" because that is my song of the moment right now. They are adorable. I loved Xtina's makeup, LC had the hottest dress of the night and I have to give a shouout to Kid Rock for representing Michigan! And while he's not my cup of tea, that new single is pretty catchy.

By now you're all probably thinking "WTCHUCK Jewlie, you are missing THE amazing, totally insane, possibly best moment of the night!" But duh. I saved the best for last. TRIPLE WINZ BY BRITTERZ!!!! She's never won a VMA in her life and this year she was nominated for three and she DOMINATED FOR THREE! Me and my roommate were like "Brittany's not gonna win." And when they called her name we were screaming and jumping up and down for excitement! Britterz looked SO ah-mazing. Her body was banging, her dress was sparkly and I still am obsessed with her cute little voice! Even though she beat out the Jo Bro's (who didn't get any winz) Britt Britt's triple winz is definitely my favorite moment of the night. What was yours?! I wanna hear everyone's opinions!
