I’ve never had any luck when it comes to winning contests, but luckily my roommate did when she won tickets to see Japandroids and DIIV at Webster Hall. Before the show, I was more of a fan of the mellower DIIV.

The mood completely changed once Japandroids took the stage, igniting the wildly energetic crowd into a frenzy of  moshing and crowdsurfing).

Being short has always limited the quality of photos I take at shows, but my roommate got this sweet artsy shot during their set. I may need to take along a better quality camera than my phone to take more impressive photos!
