I have the worst news I could ever report today… The most exciting woman in the world, the incredible entertainer, Eartha Kitt passed away yesterday, Christmas Day after a long battle with colon cancer. Eartha was 81 yrs old. I first learned of Eartha from her purrrfect purrrformance as Catwoman on the Batman TV series. But it wasn’t until I heard her singing and her famous rendition of “Santa Baby” that I really got hooked. I’m so glad Keith, Anne and I got to see her on Broadway in The Wild Party, she was capital FEE’UZ! We LOVE you Eartha, you’ll be greatly missed. C’est si bon, baby!

I saw her at Westport Playhouse last year, I think it had to be her last live show. She was so fabulous! She danced and shimmied all up on Joanne Woodward in the front row haha (it was opening night and Joanne Woodward was a big donor). Girl had LEGS!
