Oh nose! And I just renewed my subscription!

How horrible! I just got the Domino book on decorating, which came with a card for a free subscription. I totally filled it out last night and was all set to send it in this morning! It must be super hard for the mag industry right now, with everyone peeping the internet.

One of my fave mags, Missbehave, just announced that they’re going 100% digital…which i guess is better than not existing at all. I would def. miss them, too.

I am so sad. I love Domino. I love it so much that I gave up all my other mags and just subscribed to them. The tough times are hurting us all.

Thank goodness for my Google Reader loaded with all the blogs I love.

I’m really sad and shocked about this. stupid economy. My and my mom noticed that the magazines are getting less pages.

oh i heard! that sucks for all of its poor (literally, now) emploeyees! and i hate recessions too, so many good things are closing!! please promise me ff will stay strong through this dire time!

Dude. Conde Nast has cut SO many employees in the past couple of months. SO glad I’m not a journalism major anymore!

If they take away Glamour, Bust, Real Simple, NY Mag, or People; I give up on life.
This economy/this turn to everything online is not my favorite thing for sure.

frankly, i’m shocked. so speechless i don’t even know what to say. one of my fave mags… it will be greatly missed. RIP Domz

I’m with you, Chris. I don’t have the words. And Elizabeth, I agree about Blueprint. Doomino was my replacement for that, and it grew on me more and more with each issue, especially the annual ‘green’ issue. I even loved reading the blogs, and I understand that they’re about to be gone, too. Sad day.

They would have kept my dollars if they had kept the focus on creativity and not shifted to ridiculously high budget crap a couple years ago.

awww this is sad. i loved martha stewart’s blueprint magazine, and it barely got through 2 years before it got shuttered. i had to buy the issues i didn’t have yet off ebay! i think domino rocked and i would’ve kept buying it. it’s sad it closed! also, jane is now closed? that’s terrible too! i’m holding on tight to my entertainment weekly!!!!!!!!! there’s been rumors of them going online only!!!!!! no!!!!!!!!!

I am so bummed about losing Domino. I had been a subscriber since the first issue and had just renewed. Guess I’ll go re-read that last issue while sobbing quietly.
