Poverty, brotherhood, devotion, love and a hulla fortune! Well, Keith and I finally saw the Best Picture winner, Slumdog Millionaire. Honestly, I didn’t know what to expect. I thought it would be a mad dash of Bollywood with a hint of dance and a game show tossed in for good fortune… But WOW, now I get it! Cried about 13 timed. LOVED it… JAI HO, taj mahalz!
JAI HO!!! omg i loved this movie SOSOSOSOSOSO much! i already preordered my dvd from amazon!! i lovelovelove when they dance (i like to do the move when they do fist pumps) and omg i couldnt get over how incredibly adorable young jamal and young salim were!! im so glad the indian government gave little salim and little latika houses!! and i cant get over how much i love dev patel!! YAY SLUMDOG!!!

I have never cried so much for such a prolonged period of time at the movie theatre in my life! Twice! But it’s very worth it.

This one is definitely on my list! By the way, I caught ‘Rachel Getting Married’ this weekend, and it’s SO good in a lot of ways. Anne didn’t deserve the Oscar after all, but it’s still a heck of a performance.
