**SET YOUR PHASERS TO STUN ALERTZ** You mean stunNING… Captain James T. Kirk and company are back to kick some mayhah Romulan azz. Thanks right, J.J. Abrams’ latest incarnation of the Star Trek franchise has topped the box office this week, beaming up a whopping $76.5 million in ticket sales! Needless to say Keith and I raced to the movies to see this iconic remake… And I have to say, it was spectak… Everytime they introduced another one the famous redux characters, yup, total cry-face. I couldn’t help it, it was like being a little boy again with my Dad watching Shatner sass up the Federation. It was visually incredz, and Zachary Quinto and Chris Pine are super hawt boxes… Could stare at those 2 all day long. And seeing Megan from Felicity on the bridge… Thanks J.J.! But I have to say Karl Urban as Dr. “Bones” McCoy took the cake… He totally nailed that character. And seeing Leonard Nemoy reprise this role as the “future” Mr. Spock blew my mind… Simply the best!!! J.J. and everyone, did an ahmahzing job. Not only did they forge forward reinventing the Star Trek brand, they also paid a loving homage for the classic Trekkies… Live long and prosper, betches!
