ABSOLUTELY! i think it’s an absolute WONDERFUL idea! to be honest i’ve never worn make-up and i’m 18 because i don’t know how to put it on! oh gosh, i’m an insult to all girls out there hahaha i’ve looked at other make-up tutorials to try and pick up some tips but i never really liked the style but i REALLY like the fresh natural look you gave your models! i’d be SO trilled if you started a make-up tutorial blog! i’d really like to learn how to make my eyes POP! i’m asian so i naturally have tiny eyes and all-nighters don’t really make things any better, but i love that fresh dewy look that we usually see on t.v. and magazines, maybe that could be an idea for a future blog topic

I love playing dress up with make-up!!!! this is such a good idea!! I’d love to see how to do different looks, like a simple, day-time fresh-faced look and a badass nighttime party look!

Wow! The girls looked beautiful to begin with, but the makeup just beautifully enhances their looks. I would love to hear how the makeup was used and applied; I’m not great at doing so myself and would love to learn.

You did an amazing job Jen!! I love Benefit’s kits that you can sneak into a bag to take out for the night. They really make great proucts, but YOU, my darling make it look right on your models. My fav is the seond after because your model looks so confident and I know she LOVES how she looks!!

Ooops, in all my praise, I do want to know more about the smoky eye…. as maggiemaemary noted and brows, always a great thing to teach. I’d like to make my eyes look brighter and wider and just right.

This is fantastic. Great make-overs! I have trouble with either my eye-liner or mascara(or both?) getting in the creases under my eyes. I end up looking like i have black eyes! Any tips? Is it the crap eye-liner and mascara I use(Maybelline?) or is there some way to prevent this from happening?

Hmm…I’d like to know what someone just beginning to use makeup should use. Perhaps something simple to start off with? I really want to know simple but pretty make-up tricks.

Hi Jen! I used to be a make up artist too and I know what you mean…it’s definitely not all that exciting unless you’re SUPER into craft services, cause that’s where you’ll be cooling your heels for most of the day once the initial makeup has been applied. I didn’t know that you did the models’ make up and I think it looks awesome! I love Benefit cosmetics too… favorite products are the Benetint for cheeks and lips and their adorable lip and eye palettes that come out a few times a year.

I love benefit!!! I am super super obsessed with the Bad Gal lash! No other mascara I’ve tried has given me the look it does. I use Stila for eyeshadow though, I’m obsessed with their ‘kitten’ colour. I’m also obsessed with Benefit’s ‘benetint’. Nothing else will make my lips look so cute.

I’d also like to know how to get the perfect smokey eye. It’s something I think would look great on me but I’ve got no idea how to get it.

I’m 20 but I look super young. How can I use makeup to look older without overdoing it? I normally don’t wear makeup but would love to learn how to apply *minimal* makeup for nights out. I have small eyelids too, which makes eyeshadow hard to apply correctly. Any ideas? Thanks!

I do like Benefit cosmetics and might like a tutorial, especially if maybe you have advice for some Asian-shaped eyes, both with and w/o the crease? For example on ANTM, the Asian contestant recently overdid her eye makeup. And I have been curious about trying a “smoky eye” look but I don’t think I can work that because I have a slightly bulgy eye –totally normal, but you know, different from the usual Euro face which is usually used in examples. So I tend to avoid putting anything under my eye because I think it just looks odd. Help on that would be great!

I’m really enjoying playing with makeup at the moment (got to love this one amazing reddy bronze-coloured glittery eyeshadow I picked up from Boots – this totally awesome chemist in England) but I am wondering… does anyone else get watery eyes after they put eye makeup on or is that just me? I’m extremely pale and I have darker circles under my eyes, I think because I am so light. Is there any kind of a concealer to blend it better? And I’d also like to know how to use glitter and bright colors on pale skin. Thanks Jen!

Natasha E.- I’ve been using Urban Decay’s Eyeshadow primer potion, which is an eyeshadow base. It works really well when you want your eyeshadow to stay on longer, and not crease or smudge:)

Yes, please do post videos! I was a tomboy growing up but am now trying to embrace my inner girly-girl. I’ve never had much practice with eyeshadow, so any tutes on application would be appreciated, all my attempts look like a 5 year old who got into mommy’s makeup

I love Benefit Bad Gal Lash Blue. I put it over a coat of black and it gives me giant lashes and great big eyes!! Makeup is so awesome!

here’s my dilemma: i have lots and lots of gorgeous freckles. i never wear foundation because it just looks fake.. do you have any ideas on what i can use for sheer coverage that will look natural in photos? i noticed that one of your models has freckles too, and she her skin looks great! and you didn’t “erase” her freckles.

I would totally love to see some makeup tutorials it would make fredflare more well rounded in all aspects of fashion! Please, please make some vids. Also with the eyebrows, I always wondered what is the best way to go about shaping them? Tweezers? Waxing? Threading? What are the pros and cons. I wanna know how to do a Megan Foxx-esque smoky eye. I’ve watched tons of how to videos on you tube, but so far I don’t like anyone’s tips. They all do it differently and claim simplicity. Can a smoky eye include any look from a smudgy eyeliner to a fully shadowed eye?
