Oh, no! What have I done? I must be crazy! I just agreed to write a 50,000 word novel with Keith and a group of flares. In one month’s time. That’s 1667 words a day; it’s 200 pages; it’s hard.
I’ve done this before;it is hard but it’s also fun. And, since I’m here in Michigan alone I enlisted a friend of mine, Alice, to do it with me. We start Friday. Wish us luck.

comment by Emma — January 2, 2010Okay, so it’s January 3. So far I”m at 5300 words, but then it’s been a holiday weekend. Once I’m back at work I’m sure the word count will suffer. I’m writing a children’s novel; only qualification I have is that I was once, eons ago, a child.
