So, I may not be BFFs with the Mulleavy sisters (like some people I could mention…love you, Tavi!), but I am still a huge fan of their Rodarte line, and their Fall 2010 collection only further cemented those feelings, even if I couldn’t watch it front row with these awesome celebs. Inspired by a road trip through Texas and the border town of Ciudad Juárez, as well as the concept of sleepwalking, the collection boasts bold Southwestern colors and patterns. Prominent as well is the signature Rodarte patchwork feel, from gauzy layers to multi-textured sweaters. I haven’t been to that part of the continent in quite a while, but if it means I get to dress like this (and escape New York’s snows) then I’d hop on a plane in a minute!

gorgeous! that top row is so dreamy…
comment by ang — February 17, 2010kinda loving how playful and fun this collection is…

comment by Emily — February 17, 2010The one thing that definitely caught my eye, were the tights, I mean, you can NOT get much better than that! Just looking at these, makes me feel like i am in a fairy tale!
comment by Kaelin — February 17, 2010I like the individual pieces in this collection. Not sure if I would wear them all together like it is presented. ADORE the colorful skirt on the first model & the textured tights. Also, the prints and patterns are consistently amazing!
comment by Amber — February 17, 2010Oh NY Fashion Week. How I wished I lived in NYC! All the collections look fabulous!
comment by Kandice — February 18, 2010That middle dress in the second row is GORGEOUS!
comment by Lisa — February 18, 2010Lose the patterned tights and strips of cloth, and this collection might not be so…off-putting. I do like their use of textures, but some of those fabrics just look like table cloths. Or curtains. I suppose they’ve really got that dreamy feel going on, though. I’m just not into it. =\
comment by Sarah — February 18, 2010i am definitely in love w/ those laced up flats. there’s just something about them that ties the “dreamy” part in dreams.
comment by woolie — February 18, 2010ah those tights! so cute
comment by karen oh — February 18, 2010I’m in LOVE with this. The colors and patterns are wild, my favorite one posted thus far although I can’t imagine being able to casually wear any of it. It’s just pretty to look at, like art.
