With the couture collections of Fall/Winter 2011 in full swing, Chanel brought out all the stops for its latest jaw-dropping presentation! Inspired by the fact that Coco Chanel was a Leo, Karl Lagerfeld had French opera set designers create a huge golden lion holding a pearl under its paw, from which the models appeared. Thankfully, the clothes weren’t upstaged by the grandeur of their surroundings–the looks were gorgeous and oh-so chic!
