Christina Aguilera and her boyfriend, Matt Rutler were arrested early Tuesday morning. The 4-time Grammy award winning singer was taken into Police custody for “public intoxication,” while her man was arrested for a DUI. She was released with a misdemeanor and according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s spokesman, they have no desire to prosecute, as it was merely a “public safety issue.” He continued in his statement saying “She was incapacitated. She was cooperative. She was not belligerent in any way whatsoever. She was just intoxicated.”

Some are saying Aguilera’s recent behavior could be the cause of her relationship. First she botched the National anthem at the Super Bowl, then she was stumbling all over at the Grammy’s… now this! Seems Xtina’s partying is getting a bit out of control. Get a hold of yourself girlfriend!
