Aw, I love these colorful little booties. It’s already super cute, just add water. Literally. Ok, so you open this up and there’s a directions leaflet, two peat pucks and– no, no, calm down, those are just a packet of seeds. We are ready to roll all up in this b.

SO what you do is throw those earthy little hockey pucks in your ceramic boot and add approximately 140 mL of lukewarm water. Being an ex-photo chemistry nerd, I pulled out my trusty beaker just to be exact. But in all my nerdy splendor, I got over zealous and poured the water too fast. You can see the consequences in the photo. Remember to pour slowly and don’t forget that these wee wellies are just that. WEE. So take it easy, tiger. And give it a few pokes with a stick to break it up. I used a matchstick, haha. Then, sow seeds evenly just to be fair and you’re good to go. Don’t forget to have a spray bottle handy (dollar store!) for when the soil’s dry and needs a quick spritz. Fingers crossed, wish my little guys luck! Click here to start your rainboot garden.
