daily dispatches from Paris! thurs: just strollin' click here to become fred's flickr friend! paris postcard from fredflare.com's Keith & Chris Our fave thing to do in Paris is nothing. We walk around without any plan and snap tons of pictures like super tourists.
We talked your ear off yesterday so just pix today... Wish you were here!
We went to Monmartre, which was amazing. I really liked it up there, had really good energy. I was wishing I had remembered to bring the address of French Touche - had originally hoped to write about all these great places to shop in Paris - but in the end we just wanted to be on the streets, catch the views, see the peeps. We wandered through this place where there were all kinds artists showing awesome cheesy work and these two guys offered to do paper silhouettes of Chris and me. Chris said I should do it because I love sihouettes and he filmed me for the podcast, though another man rushed in to do his as he filmed. The two men laughed and told us how handsome we were, must be a sales tactic. Um, fell for it anyway! How long have you been doing this? I asked. The gentleman replied, Oh, about 32 years. His friend the same... Can you imagine? Thirty two years of making paper silhouettes steps from Monmartre Cathedral. That sounded like a dream.
