What inspired your fall collection?
A walk around Walden Pond in Concord, MA.

LOVES your junk food bracelet! What's
your favorite junk food?
Ice Cream and Tofu Hot Dogs (not at the same time).
What's your current accessory
obsession?
Our 1970's oversized Farrah Fawcett button we found at a thriftstore on
Cape Cod.
Ebay alert! What have you been
collecting?
This month its vintage sailor lockets with anchors on them.
What's in your bag?
Big Red gum, PATCH NYC coin purses and our FRED FLARE wood grain paper
pad filled with fabric swatches for the Spring 2002 collection. Oh, and
lots of
black hairs from our dog Boo!
Hey Mr. DJ, what's spinning in
your CD player these days?
We have a pretty eclectic collection of music in the studio so it's always
changing depending on who's playing DJ. For example, today we've heard
early Ella Fitzgerald, Nikka Costa, The Flying Neutrinos, Malcolm McClaren,
Jill Scott, Thriller, early Madonna, Alberta Hunter, Garbage, Culture Club
and
David Gray.
What do you guys do on your days
off?
Peruse the 26th street flea market if it's nice out or, on rainy days,
we do
arts & crafts projects at home.
Dish it out! What are your favorite
dining spots?
Miracle Grill in New York and the Gingerbread Factory in Lexington, MA.
Who are your design idols?
All the amazing craftspeople who made the vintage treasures that inspire
us.
What do you feel has been your
biggest accomplishment since
starting your own business?
Both being full-time PATCH NYC employees and launching our new website!
